H2O

Its Hydration Season........

I dont know what the weather is like where you are.... but here in New Jersey its been so HOT! It is so important to drink water through out the day and stay hydrated. Here are some facts from an article I read in Women's Health Magazine (July/August 2013 issue)

We all know that more than half of our body is made up of water.

Dehydration kicks in when you've lost 2% of your water weight. You are now prone to headaches, cramps, and fatigue.

H2O deficiency can also affect the brain. Research suggests that mild dehydration --which may not even make you thirsty-- can interfere with your ability to concentrate and can ramp up stress and anxiety.

Scientists suspect a lack of water adversely affects the nerve cells that control mood.

The Institute of Medicine recommends the average woman get at least 11.4 cups of water a day (this includes fluid you get from food)

You can always check your urine to see how hydrated you are. Pale yellow?? You're fine. Any darker means you need more water. If its consistently crystal clear..... you're trying to hard.
